Behind the Scenes of Blade Runner 2049
This year marks the 35th anniversary of Blade Runner, the movie which spawned a faithful cult following despite doing poorly at the box office back in 1982. To commemorate the anniversary, a behind-the-scenes featurette from the production of Blade Runner 2049 was released.
Directors Denis Villeneuve and Ridley Scott brought new elements to the sequel in order to set the movie apart from the original. But there are a lot of expectations to stay true to the original iconic film. This Blade Runner sequel picks up thirty years after its predecessor and follows the LAPD "Officer K", played by Ryan Gosling, as he searches for the long-missing, replicant-hunting legend Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford).
The clip gave us some familiar glimpses of the stunningly beautiful neo-noir dystopian cinematography.
The movie features Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, Dave Bautista and Robin Wright.
Blade Runner 2049 will hit cinemas on October 6.
